All over blonde to natural shadowed blonde

My client came in to me with an all over bleach blonde. It was cute but it made her hair look super dark growing in. She still wanted to be blonde but a little more shadowed root, not so solid one color. In this situation as a lot of others, it is important not to bump her base color. So I just babylight low light with Goldwell colorance , we mixed it 2 parts colorance lotion to one part 7n with ¼ 7g. Then , i just look at her hair and decide which parts i want to stay bright around her face, and leave those pieces out. I also look at the hair and try to decide how much lowlights i want to do and how dark i want it to be. Then I also, don’t really want to pull the low light all the way through the ends. That way it will make her ends stay bright and blonde. Then, after that we let it process for 20 min. Then we tone, the base , mids and ends so it looks super blended and soft. Brittany explains, “I have found it best with my timing and scheduling by doing color first, then do the blowdry. Total time usually takes me around 2.5 hours.
