Episode 26 – Madi’s White Habit Blonde Hair Coloring

SKU 9cf81d8026a9 Category
Chrissy breaks down Madi’s color formula and steps to achieve this white blonde look. We hear daily that clients come to the salon to get that “white blonde look”. We are excited to share how we achieve this look and know that it can drive more clients that are searching for the white blonde look to you. Formula Notes: Super super fine slice/weave highlights with a lot of foils with Goldwell Oxycure 20vol and olaplex. All the way to the root in the foil. Break it up with some lowlights to add contrast which makes it look lighter. Redken Shades 8N and 7GB and pull it through a bit more than 1/2 way to soften it up and give definition. While processing we used Olaplex 2 to cover her remaining hair so it can start to work sooner. Use fine sections to help have minimal roots. Weave back two section first. Let it process and then weave in the top and side. That way the back doesn’t get overly done. Find part and make front piece even POP more. Chrissy still used the same Goldwell Oxycure 20vol and olaplex Redken Shades 9N 9NB barely tap out the roots around 1/8″ off the scalp. We call this “tapping out the root”. The rest of the hair will be toned with Goldwell Colorance 10p to cancel out the yellow. Leave it on to give that icy blonde. Let is process until the “yellow is gone”. Finish, Style, and photos!
