We are changing this bronde to an all over dark, fall color. Most of the time you can slap on all of the dark color but I want it to be seamless and super natural and have demotion. I’m going to lowlight with a couple different colors and then go back through and pull some dark color through that again. First we start by baby lighting with a demi permanent 5n 6n redken ¾ .
Most people are so quick to use a permanent color, I feel that it just causes so many problems. Not only does it dry your hair out so bad, it makes it so hard to break through that color when you want to change it.
Around her face we used straight 6n instead of the 5n6n because I don’t want it to pick up to much dark around her face. So, i’m using 6n around her face and pushing it all the way through.
Once I get about half-way through the front I added the 5n back into it. Then I had one of my assistants put in 5n6n rekin shades about 3 inches down and some all the way through.
