Chrissy is going to be darkening up Kelsey’s hair. She wants to richen her color without making her hair too dark. To begin, Chrissy starts by alternating baby lights and low lights. She is using Goldwell Oxycur 20 vol and Goldwell Colorance 6N 7N with a little 7G. For the low light, she is leaving out the ends on every other foil to keep the ends bright. After processing, in order to tone, she is using Goldwell Colorance 7N 6N to smudge her root. Around her face, she is going to switch to Redken Shades EQ 8N to keep the brightness. For the mids, she will do 7N 9Gb and then leave out the ends, because they are already the color she wants.
